I've been proud to be an active resident of Lexington since 1983. My life in public service began as a teenager growing up in Williamstown, Kentucky, and continued when Gov. Martha Layne Collins appointed me to serve in her administration.
While my background is in public relations, I have been honored to accept leadership roles in higher education, banking, charitable foundations, and government. I intend to utilize this diverse background on the Council.
I'm a community man, through and through. That's why I'm running for LFUCG Council. I love the 4th District, and I want to see it thrive. I know with the right ideas, and humble leadership, it can continue to do so.
Service to our community is my lifelong commitment and includes volunteer leadership in over 40 social services, education, neighborhood, religious, charities, and non-profit organizations. See a partial list of my public service below.
I'm the proud father of two sons who graduated from Lexington public schools and are a dentist and a future attorney.
